Description:
GVA Search is proud to be partnering with a globally recognised brand, who is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join their dynamic finance team, focusing on International Markets. The International Markets represent a diverse group of mature and developing markets, trading primarily through third-party distributors. In this role, you will drive business performance insights through high-quality data analysis, consolidated financial reporting, and forecasting for key regions, including Italy, Brazil, Nigeria, Japan, and India.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven finance professional to influence and shape the performance of a growing international business while supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, report, and analyse the consolidated IM P&L, Balance Sheet, and Working Capital for month-end close, quarterly forecasts, budgets, and the 5-Year Plan.
- Consolidate financial submissions from six legal entities and provide insights on performance drivers and variances.
- Deliver accurate, insightful reporting to support key business decisions, with a focus on improving forecast accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, ensuring a clear understanding of the IM’s financial position.
- Analyse financial and non-financial data to support business performance reviews, identify risks, and highlight opportunities.
- Support the implementation of dashboards, KPIs, and other performance tracking tools to enhance visibility and accountability.
- Lead data-driven initiatives that translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Own and enhance financial planning and reporting systems, ensuring data accuracy and streamlining processes for improved efficiency.
- Drive the development and adoption of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) as the group’s primary planning, reporting, and business intelligence tool.
- Play a key role in systems and process improvement projects across the finance team.
- Conduct scenario planning and ad-hoc financial analysis to support critical business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with international finance teams to improve reporting, forecasting, and data integrity.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or equivalent, with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience. You will have proven commercial business partnering experience, ideally within FMCG, retail, or a multi-site environment. A strong analytical skill set is essential, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems—particularly SAP, SAP BI, and Power BI—would be highly beneficial.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, combined with strong communication skills, is crucial. You should be adept at influencing and collaborating across diverse, cross-cultural teams.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who is eager to make a significant impact within a dynamic international landscape. If you are results-driven, passionate about working in international markets, and have a proven track record of driving performance improvements, we would love to hear from you
