Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
A brand new opportunity has arisen for a FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst) to join our finance team in Melbourne. Working closely with the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in conducting analysis and reporting across the Group, identifying key insights to drive decision making and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
As our new FP&A Analyst, you’ll have the chance to showcase your strong commercial focus and bring your passion for finance to life.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Being an integral part of the annual budget and forecast process, where you’ll help with communication, consolidation, analysis, and reporting
- Building strong relationships with the business through monthly reporting and insightful analysis of actuals vs. plan, presenting your findings to the P&L owners and helping drive decisions
- Partnering with key stakeholders and supporting the FP&A Manager to understand key business drivers and identify future opportunities and issues
- Conducting ad hoc analysis to support the business and enable decision making
- Contributing to the production of impactful monthly board packs
- Assisting with the management of reporting and planning systems (Oracle/PBCS) and being a part of continuous improvement efforts to align with best practice
- Taking on exciting ad hoc projects as required.
