The team
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Experience area is part of Global Business Operations (GBO) and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The area is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.
The role
- Partner with In-market Finance and Regional teams on efficiency and projects, including Voyager transformation
- Provide Voyager project coordination for Global Travel scope, supporting its completion and coordinating cross-functional and in-team activities
- Drive business performance through financial/commercial expertise and insights, owning the delivery of financial targets and maintaining an effective control environment.
- Build positive relationships with senior internal partners and peers, providing accurate and timely reporting, responding to ad hoc requests, and ensuring robust strategic planning
- Perform extensive financial analysis to provide insights from different business dimensions
- Ensure delivery of a robust annual plan, monthly performance rhythm, analysis, timely information, insights, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis for high-quality decision-making
- Provide mentorship within the team and to other teams related to planning, analysis, and forecasting; resolve sophisticated problems independently
- Deliver monthly management reporting processes (various BPM reports), prepare decks for review meetings, play a key role in preparing and submitting the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan
- Ensure completeness of profit center/market figures; deliver accurate forecasts based on trends in actuals and partner information
- Support finance processes requiring business judgment; provide accurate, detailed, and timely analysis as needed or requested
About you
- Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
- 5-6 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling
- Strong accounting experience
- Experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment
- Experience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantage
- Strong financial / commercial analysis background, proven track record to connect with partners at varying levels and the ability to flex to different market environments/ cultures
- Have an excellent understanding of BW, SAP, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision making
- Proficient in English
