FP&A Manager, London, 37.5 Hours - Hybrid

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join our dynamic finance team and support the financial growth of our UK business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • FP&A Leadership: Supervise and coordinate all FP&A activities across the entire Clarins UK business, collaborating with the leadership team, heads of departments, and team managers.
  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Oversee the budgeting and review of the business COGS, valued at approximately £35M annually.
  • Budgeting & Reforecasting: Manage the annual budgeting and business planning process, including periodic reforecasts. Provide guidance and support to teams in the production of accurate budgets.
  • Cost Reviews: Conduct regular departmental cost reviews to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide strategic financial analysis, challenge assumptions, and present alternative solutions to support business growth.
  • Project Appraisal: Evaluate the suitability, feasibility, and acceptability of business cases.
  • Commercial Insight: Act as a proactive business partner, offering commercial insight and strategic recommendations.
  • KPI Dashboard: Produce the monthly company KPI dashboard, tracking key performance metrics.
  • Financial Reconciliation & Reporting: Oversee monthly financial reconciliations and participate in preparing monthly management accounts. Analyze trends, variances, and provide additional reporting as needed (e.g., capex analysis, inventory analysis, modelling, and forecasting).
  • Mentorship & Training: Mentor and train both Finance and Non-Finance colleagues on best practices in reporting and commercial awareness.
  • Team Development: Manage and develop direct reports to ensure continued team growth and success.
