The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you’ll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Finance team aims for around 2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings. The role could be based at either our Bracknell or London campus depending on your preference.
- The salary range for this role is set at £57,000 - £85,500.
- This position is a permanent contract.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with significant post qualification experience
- Experience of partnering Senior Stakeholders - including Executive and Senior Directors
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through verbal and written comms with Finance and Non Finance Stakeholders
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Manager to join our Group FP&A team here at the John Lewis Partnership. The Group FP&A team produces consolidated Planning, Reporting and Analysis for the Partnership, playing a crucial role in driving its long-term financial health. The team sets the direction and leads FP&A activity across other Finance teams for month end reporting, strategic planning & budgeting and in year forecasting. Alongside BAU delivery, the team is key to delivery of the Finance Roadmap to improve finance data, process and analytics with the roll out of new technology and CI techniques.
This role specifically focuses on :
- Partnership’s cash flow and balance sheet responsibilities
- Delivering financial planning to ensure alignment with business strategy and initiatives
- Representing Group Finance team with Finance and Business leadership teams
- Advising on likely financial outcomes for cash flow, net asset and KPI positions to senior leadership to drive mitigating actions
- Managing and developing a team of 3 Senior Finance Analysts, and playing a leadership role for the ~20 Partners in the FP&A team and wider Commercial Finance team
