Description:

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong FP& A Manager to support our entertainment client on an 8-month hybrid engagement beginning immediately, in Los Angeles. The FP& A Manager will support the existing Worldwide Distribution FP& A team during a large-scale business process improvement initiative. The FP& A Manager will be involved in the consolidation and analysis of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, mid-range plans, and ultimates across various business lines.

Responsibilities:

Consolidation

  • Support consolidation and analysis of the financial budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year plan
  • Ensure FP& A system is accurately updated. Maintain hierarchies and develop new reports as needed
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly CFO presentations and ad hoc analysis
  • Support the coordination of the forecast cycle, including communication with all stakeholders involved alongside internal team
  • Collaborate with global FP& A, IT, and Commercial teams to optimize processes
  • Review regional forecast submissions (variance analysis) as part of quarterly forecast process
  • Assist with the Cash Flow forecast
  • Prepare ad-hoc cash analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of month end close analysis
  • Perform reconciliations between PBCS and SAP/BPC
  • Prepare and update TV Product Passes
  • Prepare title variance analysis vs Budget and Prior Forecast
  • Responsible for product assumption tracking, calculating, and publishing to the distribution organization.
  • Track and analyze Ultimates to ensure accuracy
  • Update forecast to reflect latest slate/product assumptions
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analyses into decisions and actions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with other applications (Essbase, SAP, Power BI, Tableau a plus)
  • Excellent time management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with financial statements and large data sets
  • Self-motivated with high standards and attention to detail, along with an excellent work ethic
  • Independent worker and able to manage multiple deliverables
  • Continually searches for opportunities to improve internal processes
