Job Summary

DiGiCo is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of mixing consoles used by top musician around the world. KLANG, based in Aachen, Germany leads the way in immersive in-ear monitoring solutions. Together, we offer solutions to enhance live performances experience for performers.We are looking for a talented and passionate FPGA engineer to join our teams either in Chessington or Aachen. In this role you will be designing low-latency, high accuracy audio systems for both companies and drive the inter-communication between KLANG’s and DiGiCo’s products. You will be involved in all the steps of the development of our products (Specification, system architecture, schematics review, development, debugging)

Main activities & responsibilities

  • Audio Engine Design: Develop new processing and features on our ecosystem of products (Consoles, Racks, DMIs, Audio Processors)
  • Algorithm Development: Design audio effects, audio signal routing solutions, interface externals IC with bespoke communication protocols.
  • Software development: Write clear code, with an emphasis on high-quality software development practices.
  • Test and verify your designs with industry standard verification libraries.Hardware Development: Sketch and review electronics design, system architecture and Specify IC choices.
  • Documentation: Thoroughly document designs, interfaces, and protocols to ensure clarity and maintainability across the team.
