SUMMARY
In this position, you will be focused on enabling features on our hardware products. You will perform RTL design for FPGAs including synthesis, simulation, and timing closure. You will collaborate on embedded software design to create robust, requirement-compliant features as well as partner with quality and operations teams to ensure high-quality product delivery. You will support technical publications with accurate information and continuously seek opportunities to innovate and enhance processes and tools. A more detailed list of job duties is noted below.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full design process from architecture through to execution and delivery
- Perform RTL design & simulations for FPGA’s
- Integrate 3rd party IP and complete unit test of product features
- Contribute to the overall system architecture
- Contribute to specifications, design and documentation of features, sub-systems and modules utilizing the design process methodology and adhering to design deliverables
- Contribute to project planning by identifying tasks, effort estimates and dependencies
- Participate in system integration
- Participate in RTL verification through simulation and wave-form debugging
- Enhance the simulation environment and design test cases
- Participates in schematic designs and reviews
- Isolate and correct product defects, conducting root-cause analysis
- Provide 2nd level support to Applications Engineering
- Debug system level issues with Embedded Software & Hardware teams
- Provides technical support to the Applications Engineering team, Product Management and Sales
- Coordinate release planning & implementation with Operations
- Contribute to technical training, documentation and customer support initiatives
