Description:
We are in search of a Fractional CFO to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. As part of a recognized Professional Association, this role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The Fractional CFO will be instrumental in overseeing our financial operations, formulating financial strategies, and maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support the organization’s objectives
- Present financial performance reports, projections, and other relevant data to management
- Prepare monthly financial budgeting reports, including profit and loss by division, and forecast vs. budget by division
- Implement and ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures
- Coordinate and strategize the organization’s fundraising and revenue generation plans
- Maintain a strong relationship with external auditors and manage audit process
- Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements
- Ensure the accuracy of financial and management reporting data for the organization’s board of directors
- Coordinate annual budget reviews, monthly forecasting, and weekly cash flow reports
- Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a CFO or similar leadership role in finance
- Expertise in financial reporting and budgeting
- Proficiency in working with Form 1099 and Tax - Form 990
- Experience in preparing Annual Audited Financial Statements
- Familiarity with Audit PBC lists
- Knowledge of Property Tax and NAV - Net Asset Value
- Ability to maintain fixed assets and perform bank reconciliations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals
- Professional Association industry experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, CPA also required.
