ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, tenacity, preferably experience in property/ leasing / franchisee management coupled with the ability to identify and negotiate with potential franchisees, property developers and other key stakeholders. This will be coupled with an understanding of franchising/retail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as high-level relationship management expertise. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or other related disciplines will be highly regarded. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, dynamic, and commercially astute individual to continue their career in a role that will provide significant personal and professional satisfaction.

Key skills we are looking for:

• Relevant experience in opening or developing retail outlets preferred.
• Tertiary degree in business or related discipline would be highly regarded
• Excellent communication and strong negotiating skills
• Experience in Franchisee recruitment would be excellent
• Experience in franchising / retail
• Understanding of commercial real estate (leasing)
• An understanding of retail store operations would also be highly regarded
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Reporting to the National Manager - Network Development based in Brisbane, you will grow the Bridgestone store network within Victoria and Tasmania through identifying and opening new stores. Recruiting the best quality available franchisees. Ensuring all new stores are fully operational, compliant and the new franchisees are correctly trained at the time of hand over. You will also facilitate the resale of existing stores within the state/s as required.
