Can you identify a fraud scheme before anybody else? Are you able to transform your hunch into a data driven investigation? Our aim is to protect our customers and operations from fraud and criminality by investigating those who target our company or operations and bring the perpetrators to justice through the collection & preparation of reliable quality evidence. As a Fraud & Investigation Specialist you help us identify, assess, and reduce security risks that impact our operations, products, and services. Drawing on your background in law enforcement, you’ll act as a trusted representative of VodafoneZiggo corporate security, liaising with industry peers, law enforcement, and internal stakeholders to raise awareness and combat fraud and other criminal activities. You manage complex case loads, producing in-depth investigation reports and evidence files that drive critical actions against criminal threats or policy breaches.

- Lead and manage complex investigations from initiation through resolution.
- Collaborate with business units across VodafoneZiggo to drive security initiatives.
- Conduct interviews with suspects and witnesses using established investigative techniques.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in a secure, compliant manner.
- Promote fraud awareness and ethical practices within the organization.
- Provide critical advisory support to internal stakeholders, assessing and enhancing our systems and processes to protect customers, partners, and VodafoneZiggo’s reputation
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid investigative background, ideally with experience in law enforcement or similar fields. Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll interact with stakeholders across all levels, including senior leadership, and conduct interviews. You’ll also be responsible for producing detailed investigation reports and analyzing data, so advanced analytical abilities are a must. Familiarity with Dutch Criminal Justice and Employment Law is highly desirable, as is experience in intelligence-led investigations.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven investigations.
- Creative, strategic thinking and the ability to apply it to complex investigations.
- Seasoned investigator with at least 5 years of experience in law enforcement, government, or commercial investigations.
- Background in criminal investigations within a police force, government institution, or similar environment.
- Confident and approachable communicator with a curious, proactive approach.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch
