This role will align to our Fraud Forecasting & Insights team within UK Fraud who are responsible for the day to day management of fraud across the business, ensuring that our fraud forecasting and insights are fully optimised to help protect HSBC UK or its customers from Fraud.

In this role you will:

  • Interpret and manipulate large data sets to extract trends and identify issues and risks;
  • Provide support to business stakeholders on all aspects of fraud insights and reporting, providing advice and guidance on robustness, accuracy etc of management information
  • Design and develop robust forecasting models that consider loss, customer and operational impacts of fraud
  • Working with other teams ensure that regular reporting is provided to all key stakeholders and governance fora both within the UK Fraud team and wider business

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • The role holder will ideally have proven expertise of working within an existing Fraud Mangement, Fraud Analytics, reporting or planning function
  • Profficiency in the use of data extraction techniques and tools is essential e.g. SQL, SAS etc
  • Experience of building out reporting packs for all levels of management up to and including executive maangment would be beneficial
  • Relevant work experience in undertaking detailed reporting of customer, operational and financial performance is essential
