JOB OVERVIEW
We are a Social Change organisation specialising in delivering qualifications and certifications in the outdoor, conservation, and therapy sectors.
We currently sell directly to individuals who join our programmes, but we are now expanding to build relationships with organisations and businesses, to grow our impact. This is where you come in!
Initially 2.5 hours a week, spread over 3-5 days, building relationships on Linked In and setting up meetings with our team.
Experience:
- Business development: 1 year (preferred
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a confident and professional Business Development and Partnerships Consultant to help us grow our impact by focusing on two key areas:
- Group Enrolments and Bespoke Packages:
- Build relationships with schools, local authorities (LAs), and NHS teams to secure group enrolments for our programmes.
- Collaborate with our team to design bespoke packages tailored to the specific needs of each organisation (e.g., a school or NHS purchasing 10 places for staff, or an LA funding a cohort of young people).
- Developing General Partnerships:
- Establish relationships with a university and professional bodies (e.g., British Psychological Society), and other relevant organisations to create long-term collaborations that enhance our reach and credibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, your primary focus will be to identify relevant contacts and engage in cold outreach to connect with decision-makers, primarily using LinkedIn. Your goal will be to support these contacts in booking a short introductory Zoom call with our team. You’ll also join these calls, though they will be led by a member of our team.
Your main task is to establish these initial relationships, ensure prospects are well-informed about our programmes, and facilitate smooth handoffs to our team. After the introductory call, you’ll send any relevant information to the client and collaborate with our team to create bespoke proposals where needed.
Beyond setting up meetings, you’ll play a key role in lead nurturing, checking in with contacts over time to maintain relationships and keep them engaged with our offerings.
You’ll initially work 2.5 hours per week, spread over 3–5 days, building to 8 hours or more as sales grow.
Please send a short cover letter explaining why you want this role, and what your can bring to the position. Applications without cover letters will not be processed.
