FREELANCE COMMUNITY MANAGER - REMOTE
We are an award winning digital content studio and media network who are currently on a quest to find an Arabic speaking, Freelance Community Manager based within the Gulf Region - Is this your next opportunity?
As a freelance Community Manager, you will work as one of a number of specialist in-market community managers across a range of platforms for a major basketball brand. It is essential that they are based within the Gulf Region.
The role focuses on content ideation, creation, publishing and community management within the specified key territory against a set of agreed deliverables. Strong knowledge of basketball, the teams and the players is required and the successful candidate should be able to translate that in an accessible way for the local market, to help reach new wider audiences engaging in the sport for the first time whilst also entertaining existing followers.
The Community Manager will focus most of their time on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram day-to-day but our wider in-house platform specialists will be looking to the successful candidate for additional in-market expertise and knowledge to support across other channels. The ability to craft engaging social copy and content suitable for the local and wider audience is vital along with an understanding of best practices in optimisation and publishing on a channel-by-channel basis. The skills to capture insightful social-first content (e.g. vertical video) are a requirement, while a proactive, energetic approach is also a must for this role
Some on-location coverage will be required with the key local market. Weekend and out-of-hours work is needed within the up to 20 hours per week specified below, due to the nature of sports fixtures and events and social media.
The successful candidate will be paid on a per-hour basis and required to complete time sheets to record hours worked.
