Are you a marketing strategist with a knack for engaging online communities and building meaningful relationships? We’re an advertising consultancy seeking a dynamic Community Manager. This fully remote, part-time freelance position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of decision-makers across various platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, and Slack.
As a Community Manager, your primary role will be to join key online communities, engage with decision-makers, provide valuable insights on marketing and advertising strategies, and ultimately persuade them to schedule a free consultation with us. You may also need to join video calls or record video pitches and voice notes as part of your networking efforts.
We’re looking for someone to work with long-term, for years to come. And this would be on a flexible basis, initially for a few hours a week, depending on when projects are available.
Our budget for this role is $1-$10 per hour (negotiable depending on your skills and location).

REQUIREMENTS:

Marketing and Paid Advertising Expertise: Significant experience in marketing strategy, including managing Facebook/Instagram ads and Google ads campaigns.
Community Management: Proven experience engaging with online communities and building relationships.
Excellent Communication: Native-level English proficiency with exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
Technical Skills: This job requires advanced technical skills.
Remote Work: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting.
Professional Background: Experience in advertising agencies or consultancies is highly desirable.
Quiet Work Environment: Access to a professional and quiet working environment for video calls and recordings.
Availability: Must be available for at least part of standard UK business hours (9 am to 6 pm UK time).

Community Engagement: Join and actively participate in relevant communities on platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, and Slack. Provide helpful advice and insights related to marketing and advertising strategy.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and potential clients within these communities.
Consultation Promotion: Persuade community members to schedule free consultations with our advertising consultancy.
Content Creation: Share valuable content, answer questions, and engage in meaningful discussions to establish authority and trust.
Networking: Utilize online networking techniques, including video calls and recorded pitches, to expand our reach and influence within targeted communities.
