Freelance French Video Producer

PinkNews is looking for a French-speaking video producer for its French-language Snap channels covering social media trends, entertainment content, and anything queer-related.
You’ll report to the International Senior Producer based in London and produce one story per day. We’re looking for someone who can work at least two days a week.
This role requires a deep understanding and appreciation of queer cultural trends in France, and an ability to connect with various audiences with a passion for storytelling.
Location: France - this role will be remote, ideally based in the Paris region for potential shoots
Day rate: £140-£180 (depending experience and skillset)
Shifts available: Weekdays only - 10:00-18:30
Language: Native/fluent French, fluent in English and/or German is a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to edit fast-paced social media edits on Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of journalistic storytelling formats
• Expertise in French-specific social media trends, celebrities and influencers to spot emerging stories and pitch at least one story per day
• Thorough understanding of editorial, ethical and legal standards
• Experience with native social platform publishing
• Have a thorough understanding of user-generated and archive content, gathering footage and editing
• Impeccable French writing skills for scripts and subtitles
• Detail-oriented and organised to follow strict deadlines and workflows
