Description:

If search engine optimization, keyword research, and SEO best practices are your areas of expertise, we’d love to have you as our go-to expert. We’re seeking a Freelance SEO Specialist to be available on a part-time or as-needed basis, helping us and our clients enhance our digital presence through both content optimization and technical strategies. You have a solid understanding of search engine algorithms and marketing tools, and you’re adept at offering actionable, easy-to-understand recommendations to a variety of audiences.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience in an SEO-focused role with a proven track record of driving organic traffic and improving search rankings
  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Strong knowledge of keyword research, link-building strategies, and technical SEO
  • Knowledge of conversion optimization and online customer acquisition strategies
  • Experience in presenting complex data and insights in a simple and engaging way
  • Interest in staying ahead of SEO trends and adapting proactively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and French
  • Commitment to customer service and strong prioritization abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth SEO audits (technical, on/off-page, and local) including keyword research, search engine analysis
  • Continuously optimize website content and technical infrastructure for search engine visibility
  • Develop and monitor SEO campaigns, measure their performance, and provide monthly reports to the management team
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across websites and digital platforms
  • Research competitors, identify industry trends, and generate ideas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO techniques, algorithms, and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Advise clients on SEO strategies, execute audits, and provide actionable insights
