Job Description
We are looking for a Freelance UAV Embedded Software Engineer with experience in implementing custom flight stack for drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In this role, you will collaborate with our engineering team on a project basis to develop and optimize embedded systems for advanced autonomous platforms.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), particularly NuttX and ChibiOS, and familiarity with Linux for higher-powered UAVs.
- Strong understanding of UAV flight dynamics, control systems, and sensor fusion algorithms.
- Experience in CAN, UAVCAN, I2C, UART, SPI, Mavlink protocols and integrating various sensors and actuators into the PX4 architecture.
- Familiarity with CMake build systems and configuration of build environments.
- Hands-on experience with UAV embedded testing and troubleshooting in both hardware and software.
- Familiar with UAV Simulation software (SITL) such as Gazebo
- Knowledge of Matlab and Simulink (UAV toolbox) is an advantage
