THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO KNOW:

• Location: Boon Leat Terrace
• 5.5 days work, Mondays to Saturdays, 9am to 6pm, 9am to 1pm, Saturday WFH

• Communicate and receive/send pre-alerts to and from shipping lines, airlines, shipping agents, freight forwarders and local customers
• Manage and overseeing all administrative matters of freight and customs operations:
• Bookings
• Documentations (ensuring compliance with import and export rules, checking of manifest and incoterm),
• Custom declaration
• Shipments follow-up

1. Monitor clearance & deliveries

• Manage timely receipt and submission of documentation for import and export of air/sea freight clearance:

1. Preparation of AWB, HAWB, Permits, Manifest, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of ladings, Certificate of Origin, Hazardous Cargo Declaration etc.

• Co-ordinate Import and Export freight bookings with carrier and co-loader including Air / Sea (FCL/LCL) / Cross Border Trucking / Inland Clearance & Trucking
• Track and trace shipments, follow up and provide client with prompt updates of status
• Handling of problems or complaints arising from the shipper and consignee, researching, and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies, communicate timely correspondence back to both customers and vendors
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
