Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of an Airside Operations Transport Senior Agent is to plan and organise the daily running of the yards and outbound areas, ensuring all 3rd party deliveries are loaded on time. This is a physical role which will involve pushing and pulling containers of freight. You will work along side a number of departments to maintain and distribute stock levels and report to the supervisor for smooth running of the operation.
- Coach and familiarise new joiners within the department including training.
- Respond to any last minute changes.
- Liaise with Ramp Trainers on individual needs/training requirements.
- Co-ordinate Ramp operation in order to contribute successfully to DHL operations.
- Prioritise workload of self and others.
- Support DHL core operations, as required.
- Loading dollies and trucks with DHL freight
- Contribute to On Time Performance of the DHL Network.
- Completion of Band A to C training, as required.
- Provide support and cover for supervisor when required.

YOU’LL BRING TO THIS ROLE:
- Knowledge of DHL Ramp operations. (desirable)
- DHL Operational Network knowledge 2 years (desirable)
- Ability to lead staff to ensure optimal working atmosphere and employee engagement.
- An understanding of aircraft handling procedures (GSAM and Global SOP).(training will be provided)
- Physical ability to move containers around the aircraft
- FLT license (advantageous)
- Computer literate (essential)
- Hold a full driving license (essential)
- A safety first attitude

- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Able to communicate at all levels.
- Calm methodical approach.
- self-motivated and able to motivate others.
- Interacting with people and good teamwork.
- Must meet criteria for issue of an Airside Pass
