The Emergency Support Team is looking for individuals who are proficient in French and have a strong empathy, positive attitude, and remain calm under pressure for a telecommunication role. These individuals will use their customer service and communication skills to aid in streamlining communication for the Emergency Teams. This is an all year around position.
The Role
This position will field incoming calls to the emergency line from parents of students and students who are attending a Language course abroad. Your main role will be to answer the calls and listen to the parents’ concerns, assess the level of urgency on the call to determine the course of action.
Main areas of responsibilities
- Answer all calls that come into the parent emergency line for students
- Liaise with teammates to ensure consistency with call management
- Provide support to parents as needed and provide good customer service while fielding calls
- Good judgement to determine when to escalate calls
Requirements
- Complete fluency in French and English, confident and clear communication + additional languages Spanish, Italian a plus
- Great communication
- Strong service mind and listening skills
- Positive attitude and empathy for others
- Good judgement – ability to recognize when an issue should be escalated
- Calm under pressure
