French Speaking Associate, Corporate Governance, Capital Markets & ESG

OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a French speaking Associate or Senior Associate, to join our team in D.F. King, a part of MUFG Corporate Markets, a division of MUFG Pension & Market Services. The role is based on a hybrid basis from either our central London office or our city centre office in Leeds.
As a Senior Associate, you will support and assist the team with managing Proxy Solicitation, M&A and Corporate Governance projects, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects, campaigns and client relations along with the Director of the UK and the team as a whole. We will provide training, so if you don’t have all the experience now, maybe you’ve just left university for example, have an interest in Proxy Solicitation, ESG and Corporate Governance Advisory Services and exceptional French and English language skills, you could join as an Associate.
This is a client facing, up to C-Suite level role, and in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French – you must be at least business fluent in both languages
• Very strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• The ability to work as a team player, taking responsibility for your clients needs and happily supporting and assisting the wider team with other Group projects
• A keen interest and desire to learn about Corporate Governance, ESG, Capital Markets and Investor Relations
• An analytical mind, with strong report writing skills and a solutions-based approach to addressing challenges
• A proactive and conscientious outlook with the drive and desire to succeed
• Excellent attention to detail with the diligence and accuracy to produce exceptional client report
