JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Section Manager to oversee our fresh food and diary departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing teams and stock effectively. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our section meets sales, waste and reduction targets.. The Section Manager will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, driving sales performance, and maintaining operational standards.

  • Lead and manage your section to achieve sales objectives and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise daily activities within the section, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure standards are always at the agreed level.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels and replenishment processes.
  • Implement training programmes for team members to enhance their skills in retail management and customer service.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and develop strategies to improve results.
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise overall store performance.
