We are currently seeking high potential fresh graduates to join HSBC Kuwait in entry level Associate roles in GTS Business Development supporting various business areas such as Commercial Banking, Global Banking. The role holders will have an opportunity to make a great start to their careers working alongside senior Banking professionals in a fast paced dynamic and international environment.
Tasks for this role will include most of the following:
- Leading origination efforts of Global Trade and Receivables Finance solutions for a dedicated portfolio of primarily consumer brands and retail clients – establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
- Aggressively grow local revenues for the dedicated portfolio of clients
- Assisting in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
- Assisting in the communication of new products, propositions, and relevant market information to customers
- Proactively identifying sales opportunities and develop these opportunities
- Supporting distribution channel business development strategies
- Supporting plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximize cross-selling opportunities for the bank
- Participating in events, initiatives, and activities to develop business opportunities.
- Protecting the bank’s reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area with min GPA 2.5/4.0
- Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors
- Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment
- Strong ‘team’ skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
- Possess analytical and financial skills
- Good prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to make decisions
- Good verbal and written communications skills
