JOB DESCRIPTION: PART-TIME RECEPTIONIST – SPA AT WHISTLER
Position: Part-Time Receptionist
Location: Spa at Whistler
Hours: 15-25 hours per week (including weekends and holidays)
Reports to: Spa Manager
OVERVIEW:
The Spa at Whistler is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized part-time receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere while managing front desk operations with efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Greet and welcome spa guests in a friendly and professional manner. Answer questions, provide information about services, and ensure guests feel comfortable and cared for.
- Appointment Scheduling: Manage the booking of spa treatments using our scheduling software. Confirm, modify, and cancel appointments as needed, and ensure the schedule runs smoothly.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Handle guest check-ins, process payments, and issue receipts for services. Manage any customer service issues promptly and professionally Inform guests about current promotions, products, and add-on services to enhance their experience.
- Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Spa Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring the atmosphere aligns with the spa’s tranquil setting.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, inventory management, and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Experience with booking software (Book4Time preferred but not required).
- Professional appearance.
- Basic knowledge of spa services is an asset but not required (training provided).
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
