You are the face of The Toronto Barre Collective. As the first point of contact for our community and guests, it’s your responsibility to set the tone for an exceptional experience by being friendly, welcoming, and professional.

Responsibilities:
As a Front Desk Associate, you’ll provide superior customer service to members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring an exceptional “Judgment Free” experience.
Your daily tasks include:
- Greet members/guests as they enter and exit, assisting with questions or concerns.
- Resolve member inquiries and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their needs.
- Handle membership functions (sign-ups, updates, cancellations, collecting payments).
- Conduct prospective member tours and assess their membership needs.
- Execute retail transactions accurately and work towards sales goals.
- Set up, clean, and sanitize studio equipment and communal spaces regularly.
- Keep restrooms clean, sanitized, and stocked.
- Perform routine checks of all areas to address safety, cleanliness, and policy issues.
- Address maintenance concerns such as broken/missing equipment promptly.
Qualifications:
- 6-12 months of customer service experience (preferred).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willing to become CPR/AED certified.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable with frequent cleaning, sanitizing, and interacting with cleaning chemicals.
What You Bring:
- Experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel) is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and via phone/email.
- Ability to handle complaints professionally and resolve them efficiently.
- Experience in customer service within Health and Wellness, Food Service, Hospitality, or a Boutique setting is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid Training required.
