JOB OVERVIEW:

Domus is seeking a talented Front Desk/Administration Clerk for their office located in Ottawa, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running and supporting of administrative tasks in the office. These tasks include keeping the office organized, directing phone calls and emails appropriately, filing and completing basic bookkeeping tasks as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable and understanding of general bookkeeping an asset but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingualism (English & French)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, order supplies as required and arrange for servicing of office equipment
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Respond to telephone, greet visitors
  • Assist Accounts Receivable/Payable Coordinator with accounting related tasks such as processing vouchers for payment, entering invoices in the accounting system, matching invoices with purchase orders etc.
  • Assist with managing inventory control of uniforms and warehouse supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
