Description:

The Front Desk/Patient Coordinator provides quality customer service to patients, referring offices and provides administrative support to clinic staff while performing basic front office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and collecting monies owed from patients.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
  • Must be reliable, motivated and work well under pressure
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally in all other sedentary criteria are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Greets and screens patients for MRI safety
  • Basic front office duties; mailing, faxing, answering phones
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to a positive environment and team work
  • Enters accurate patient, physician, and exam information into the medical record system
  • Assists technologist with paperwork as directed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Administrator
