Description:

JOB OVERVIEW:

Provides exceptional customer service. Meets and greets residents; checks guests and service providers in/out. Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures; monitors and operates electronic security control systems; and accurately maintains daily logs, records and forms. Assists with general concierge services and performs administrative clerical, Word and Excel document work. Walks the building premises as directed for monitoring purposes.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Command of information system hardware/software is preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required

  • Computer and peripherals, standard and customized software applications and tools, and usual office equipment.
  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
  • Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs
  • Requires standing, sitting position for long periods of time, walking and occasional climbing when necessary
  • Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages; must be able to reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended periods of time
  • Must have the ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
  • Occasional overtime may be required
  • Must have the ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and attend Board meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and open the doors (when applicable) for residents, tenants and guests.
  • Respond to all requests in a courteous, professional manner at all times
  • Answer the front desk phone.
  • Assist with restaurant menus, reviews, recommendation and reservations.
  • Provide directions for parks, restaurants, airports, etc.
  • Maintain control of all keys, including the logging of keys in and out.
  • Announce all visitors to the clients and tenants. Keep all visitors at the front deskuntil. permission is received from the unit resident/tenant.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude. Be kind and helpful to everyone.
  • Escort/assist tenants to and from cars, lobby areas, etc.
  • Pro-actively assist with packages and groceries.
  • Implement/enforce building access control and rules.
  • Provide additional level of security for the complex.
  • Assist with dry cleaning.
  • Take resident requests for maintenance services and complete the requireddocumentation.
  • Prevent unauthorized written and verbal solicitations throughout the building.
  • Take control of the lobby and monitor cameras and entranceway, report ruleviolations to the manager.
  • Maintain a clean and pleasant environment.
  • Secure all packages, deliveries, and other appropriate items at the designated area.
  • Monitor use and return of carts. Keep appropriate records in the logbook.
  • Log in all contractors and guests. Notify superintendent of any contractors orrepairmen in the building.
  • Other duties as required.
