This is a vital role where you will play a key part in building a collaborative and thriving campus culture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Proficient typing skills, with a minimum of 55 words per minute.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a talent for prioritizing and multitasking.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for helping others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure while managing various tasks.
  • Previous experience in a support role in an educational or similar setting is an asset.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a main point of contact for student and staff inquiries, including “How do I…?” questions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance in navigating software within a Microsoft Teams environment.
  • Assist with textbook activations and ensure students have access to necessary resources.
  • Organize and coordinate campus activities, tasks, and events to support a collaborative culture.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, embracing frequent interruptions with a positive attitude.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in person.
  • Maintain a welcoming and supportive presence that encourages student and staff engagement.
  • Bring proactive about compliance and policies and procedures.

The wage for this position is $48,000 to $52,000. Duties required for this position are:

  • Task Switching: A strong skillset for handling organizational tasks, while providing customer service
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using various computer applications, especially Microsoft Teams, is essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confidentiality: Handling sensitive matters with the utmost confidentiality and trustworthiness.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide superior client service.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multitasking: Strong multitasking skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Switchboard Operation: Managing calls through a multi-line switchboard in Teams environment, including directing incoming calls and making outbound calls

Additionally, general responsibilities for a College Front Desk administrator include:

  • Overseeing Administrative Operations: Managing day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Process Improvement: Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Coordination: Coordinating with other departments to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • This position will serve as the representative to be the “Friendly Face and Voice” for our students. As the first point of contact, you will provide essential information, directions, and support to students. Your friendly demeanor and helpful attitude will ensure that every student feels valued and assisted
