JOB TITLE: Front Desk Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Operations Director

Better Together Animal Alliance (BTAA) is a non-profit animal welfare organization rooted in compassion, respect, integrity, and stewardship. Our mission is to create and support meaningful connections by enhancing the lives of dogs, cats, and the people in our community who love them. Dedicated to keeping families together, BTAA focuses on proactive, community-based solutions and programs, such as Pets for Life, a helpline, pet food bank, and community clinics, to empower pet owners and reduce the need for sheltering. While sheltering remains an essential part of our work, we strive to prioritize programs that keep pets in homes and strengthen the bond between people and animals.

SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Manager serves as the welcoming face of Better Together Animal Alliance, acting as the primary point of contact for our community. This position leads a friendly and supportive team dedicated to providing excellent customer service with compassion, logic, and a problem-solving mindset. The Front Desk Manager oversees daily front desk operations, ensuring adherence to policies, effective team collaboration, and seamless pathway planning for the pet population to reduce length of stay. Ideal candidates are not only passionate about animals but also experienced in customer service and possess the leadership skills needed to guide, coach, and inspire their team in a positive and productive environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years of management experience. Animal-related experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Demonstrates compassion, integrity, respect, and stewardship toward people and animals.
Proficient in MS Office programs and computer knowledge/experience required.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Some travel may be required.
