Its celebrated restaurant, DaV Mare, embodies all the pleasures of piazzetta living through refined cuisine, curated in partnership with the 3-Michelin-star Cerea family. We are looking for a Front desk manager to join our Front office team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of previous professional experience preferably at international level in the same role;
- Fluent in English and Italian. A third language is required;
- Knowledge of Hotel Management software
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests and ensuring that they receive an efficient and friendly check-in and check-out
- Rooming our guests
- Answering enquiries and providing information about the hotel and local area to guests
- Organising special requests and communicate with all departments within the hotel to ensure that our guests receive the highest standard of service.
- Implementing of the Leading Quality Assurance Standards
- Supporting, training, and supervising front office staff.
- Supervising workload during shifts.
- Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
- Allocate guest rooms according to the reservation requests and guests needs
- Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
- Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with the front office team
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.
- Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
- Operate all aspects of Front Office computer systems.
- Ensure answer to all messages and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor all V.I.P ‘s special guests and requests.
- Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit.
- Review Front office log book and guest feedback on a daily basis.
- Maintain an organised and comprehensive filing system with all documentation
- Perform Duty Manager duties and other duties requested by management
