Description:
FusionSleep is an accredited, independent medical practice that is 100% dedicated to sleep medicine.
We are currently seeking friendly and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Front Desk Patient Advocate at our FusionSleep locations. This position will be located at our Suwanee, Johns Creek PKWY location. As a Front Desk Patient Advocate, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and waiting room area
- Greet patients with kindness and maintain a high level of professionalism throughout the patients experience.
- Verifying and updating patient demographics and insurance verification.
- Communicating with providers to facilitate smooth flow of clinic
- Scheduling patient appointments for sleep studies, clinic appointments, DME and support.
- Determining patients’ financial responsibility; including preparation of financial agreements and proper estimates for future services
- Collecting copays
- Assisting patients with questions regarding account balances, benefits or general insurance inquiries
- Educating patients on our services and what to expect
- Preparing new patient charts
- Ensuring patients complete pre-registration in a timely manner
- Maintaining inventory of all front office supplies
- Performing and/or assisting with other administrative duties and projects as assigned
- Generating fee tickets and daily close responsibilities
- Responding to patient emails, text and calls
- Maintaining excellent customer service
REQUIREMENTS
- One (1) year of experience working in a medical/clinic setting preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of general clerical experience
- Entry level Medical Assistant preferred
- Sleep Medicine or Respiratory Care experience preferred
- Care Cloud Practice Management preferred
- EMR system experience required
