Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors, and taking messages for employees
  • Takes customer complaints or issues and pass them on to the appropriate parties
  • Creates and distributes company memos through email, letters, or telephone calls
  • Schedules and maintains the calendar of company executives
  • Coordinates the booking and setting up of meeting rooms
  • Organizes and files company documents either electronically or with a paper filing system
  • Receiving deposit cheques and providing deposit receipts
  • Upload and distribute marketing material on Social Media Platform and with emails
  • Provides support for teams when necessary

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Markham, ON L3R0M3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (preferred)
  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • Mandarin (required)
