Description:

This is a part time Medical Receptionist job for Mondays and Fridays.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, Mandarin
  • Typing skills at least 40 wpm
  • Proficiency in computer use and electronic medical records such as OSCAR
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • Punctuality
  • Adherence to medical confidentiality rules
  • Completion of Basic CPR course

Receptionist duties include:

  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling telephone and in-person appointments
  • Conducting COVID-19 telephone screening prior to in-person appointments
  • Greeting and registering patients
  • Faxing, photocopying, scanning and filing documents
  • Receiving and communicating messages for doctors and patients
  • Collecting third party fees and sending invoices
  • Preparing exam rooms and the waiting room
  • Recording vaccine fridge temperatures
  • Picking up vaccines
  • Measuring heights and weights of patients
  • Ordering and maintaining vaccine inventory
  • Ordering lab supplies

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
