Description:
This is a part time Medical Receptionist job for Mondays and Fridays.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, Mandarin
- Typing skills at least 40 wpm
- Proficiency in computer use and electronic medical records such as OSCAR
- Ability to adapt quickly to change
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Punctuality
- Adherence to medical confidentiality rules
- Completion of Basic CPR course
Receptionist duties include:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling telephone and in-person appointments
- Conducting COVID-19 telephone screening prior to in-person appointments
- Greeting and registering patients
- Faxing, photocopying, scanning and filing documents
- Receiving and communicating messages for doctors and patients
- Collecting third party fees and sending invoices
- Preparing exam rooms and the waiting room
- Recording vaccine fridge temperatures
- Picking up vaccines
- Measuring heights and weights of patients
- Ordering and maintaining vaccine inventory
- Ordering lab supplies
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
