Description:
We are actively looking for a Front Office Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis at Park Place Apartments. This role will suit someone with experience in customer service, front desk operations, or a hotel reception background.
Park Place Apartments is a four-star property consisting of 73 apartments, most of which are short-term lets. Park Place Apartments are part of The O’Donoghue Ring Collection, which includes the Killarney Plaza Hotel, Killarney Towers Hotel, Killarney Avenue Hotel, and the River Island Hotel in Castleisland. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a front office, hotel reception, or customer service role is an advantage.
- Must be flexible and available to work weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- Must have a good command of both written and spoken English.
- Must be an EU Citizen or in possession of an unrestrictive visa for the EU.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with hotel management systems (Hotsoft) is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm and welcoming experience for all guests.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
- Manage phone and email inquiries, providing accurate and prompt responses.
- Assist guests with bookings, queries, and any special requests.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Assist in administrative duties related to front office operations.
