Requirements:
We’re looking for a Front-End Developer to join our amazing UK R&D Team. This is a permanent position based at our Norwich city centre offices.
The stack that you’ll be working with is across React/Typescript using the Next.Js framework and you’ll support the team developing the core Artlist web application.
As a Front-End Developer at Artlist, you’ll further harness your knowledge of software development to help build next generation web applications and take our products to the next level. You’ll be part of a talented team based here in Norwich that is part of a wider team globally.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience/qualification).
  • Demonstrable experience with front-end technologies, including React and TypeScript.
  • An understanding of how the architecture of the codebase can affect rendering performance.
  • Interested in working as part of a vibrant and sociable team.
  • A fast learner, able to quickly master concepts, disciplines and methods.
  • The ability to articulate their thoughts and challenges with their peers.
  • Able to collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives to create user-focused experiences.
  • Proven experience of breaking down product requirements to technical tasks, providing solutions and estimations.
  • Develop code that is clean, maintainable, scalable and secure.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Frameworks such as Next.js
  • Experience with TDD, BDD and testing frameworks such as Jest/Playwright.
  • An understanding of how to create reusable components following a well defined design pattern.
