The Fidelity Institutional Technology group at Fidelity Investments has an outstanding opportunity for a Front-End Engineer who is a self-starter, with Agile/Scrum based methodology experience working with modern web frameworks and tools including Angular, CSS3 and Spring Boot. You will be applying your strong development skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve FBT customer-facing software solutions and ensure we are building the right product the right way.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent work experience
• Strong working knowledge of Angular, JavaSript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and UNIX
• Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Cucumber, Serenity, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
• Exposure to Java/Spring Boot and consumption of API’s
• Experience with designing and building user experiences and webservice applications while incorporating test automation frameworks
• Designing, developing, and implementing web applications in a dynamic financial services environment
• Working and collaborating with new technologies to solve test challenges and process improvements
• Exposure to AWS Cloud services preferable
• Passionate about full stack software development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code
• You understand technical designs at the application level, define strategies, and work closely with fellow developers.
• You have great communication skills, are a team player, and have an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Developing concise and clear technical design documents based on analysis of business requirements
