Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced front end developer to maintain and continuously improve our headless, ecommerce website. Reporting to the head of the development department, you will work closely with the design and marketing teams to bring our website to its full visual potential. You will also work closely with our backend developers to assess and integrate solutions based on the requirements from other departments, and bring everything together to provide the end user with a seamless and amazing experience representing our brand and products.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years front end experience.
- You must have an excellent understanding and UX and UI.
- Expert knowledge of CSS (SCSS and/or SASS) and have experience with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
- Must have experience with front end templating languages: Smarty, Blade, Twig, etc…
- You have a strong grasp on quality control, standardization, security and best practices.
- General understanding of marketing, SEO and analytics.
- General understanding of version control systems/platforms such as GitHub and BitBucket.
- General understanding of package management such as NPM, Yarn or Composer.
- General experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP, etc…) is a major asset.
- Experience with Laravel Vapor or Amazon AWS is a major asset.
- Fluent in both English and French.
