POSITION SUMMARY

Dupray is seeking an experienced web developer to continuously improve the UX of our headless, ecommerce website. The ideal candidate should be extremely well-versed in responsive design and have a mobile-first mindset as over 70% of our visitors are mobile users. This position mostly involves working with the front-end, however, candidates with back-end PHP experience will be heavily favored as this position involves working with back-end component classes. You will work closely with our design team to transform their vision into a seamless and amazing experience representing our brand and products. You will also work closely with our back-end development team to assess and integrate solutions based on requirements from other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in web development with an excellent understanding of front-end and UX concepts.
• Developers with PHP experience will be heavily favored for this position. More specifically, experience with Laravel and Livewire components.
• Excellent understanding of responsive design versus adaptive design, as well as mobile-first development.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with a major CSS framework such as Tailwind or Bootstrap.
• Strong experience working with JavaScript, AJAX and event-driven code.
• Experience working with components and/or component-based frameworks. A major bonus if you’ve worked with Laravel and Livewire components.
• Any experience with Figma is a strong asset.
• You have a solid grasp on quality control, standardization, security and best practices.
• Good understanding of marketing, SEO and analytics.
• General experience with version control systems/platforms such as GitHub and BitBucket.
• General experience with package management systems such as NPM, Yarn or Composer.
• Fluent in both English and French.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en développement web avec une excellente compréhension des concepts UX et UI.
• Les développeurs possédant une expérience en PHP seront fortement favorisés pour ce poste, notamment avec les composants Laravel et Livewire.
• Excellente compréhension de la conception réactive et du développement “mobile-first”.
• Excellente connaissance et expérience d’un framework CSS majeur, de préférence Tailwind ou Bootstrap.
• Forte expérience de travail avec JavaScript, AJAX et du code basé sur les événements.
• Expérience générale de travail avec des composants et/ou des frameworks basés sur des composants.
• Expérience générale avec les langages de création de modèles front-end : Smarty, Blade, Twig, etc…
• Toute expérience avec Figma est un atout majeur.
• Vous avez une solide maîtrise du contrôle qualité, de la normalisation, de la sécurité et des meilleures pratiques.
• Bonne compréhension du marketing, du référencement (SEO) et de l’analyse.
• Expérience générale avec les systèmes/plateformes de contrôle de version tels que GitHub et BitBucket.
• Expérience générale avec les systèmes de gestion de paquets tels que NPM, Yarn ou Composer.
• Parle couramment l’anglais et le français.
