We’re looking for a Front-End Web Developer to join the Front marketing team to help optimize and grow Front.com. You will have the chance to scale our existing website components, quantify web changes with a/b testing and implement an atomic website style guide. You will work cross functionality across our demand generation, content and design teams to co-own the visual experience on Front.com and related properties.

WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

  • Fully fluent in spoken and written English.
  • At least 4 years of front-end web design & development experience designing and developing changes across high traffic, public-facing websites.
  • Proven fluency in creating and editing code in JavaScript (Node.js) and Typescript
  • A public website portfolio with projects and work samples
  • Specialized experience building websites and/or web apps in React/Next.js
  • Experience working implementing design changes in CMS systems such as WordPress, Craft, Contentful, etc.
  • Experience with debugging in production environments and a history of deploying well-documented changes with Git
  • Experience working in multiple modern CSS design frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Chakra, etc.
  • Significant experience building new website designs from Figma and Sketch files
  • Experience with atomic design and scaling design systems with tools like Storybook
  • Experience building and debugging input forms, multi-step checkouts and signups

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with our design team to translate high-fidelity designs on website pages.
  • Build and maintain a website design system and component/atomic design library.
  • Assist technical scoping of new projects and web launches.
  • QA and troubleshoot website issues and bugs when they arise.
  • Create alternate website experiences for a/b testing and personalization
  • Follow and communicate industry standards on website design, and accessibility
  • Support website sprint management scoping and timeline management
