REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Sciences or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production with min 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in GMP/ packaging/food industry
- Able and willing to work 12-hours rotation shift
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Proven leadership capabilities with coaching and people development skills
- Influencing and collaboration skills
- Change management skills
- Experience working on Continuous Improvement Projects, trained in using LSS problem solving tools
- Project management skills - strong in project planning & execution

Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive collaborative efforts required to deliver quality and compliance performance for shift.
- Initiate, manage and make timely fact based decisions that impact product quality and food safety.
- Model and promote behaviors that ensure delivery of high quality products for our customers while championing compliance with Abbott policies and procedures, meeting all local and statutory requirements.
- Preparation and active participation in internal and external Quality audits and incident investigation and reporting, coupled with timely implementation of corrective and preventive
- actions.
- Track, trend and continuously improve performance for direct expenses, headcount, overtime, OEE, production (unit/hour, pound/hour), MUV, Scrap and CIP for production areas.
- Promote and drive continuous improvement programs using Operational Excellence tools and methodologies in processes/procedures in the shift for root cause analysis and resolution of issues.
- Drive OEE performance, understand the drivers, and develop and execute plans around improvement of line performance and quality metrics with support from direct manager.
- Actively plan and organize the day to day manufacturing operations and look-ahead schedules, ensuring production connectivity with Planning and supporting functions.
- Anticipate and drive proper alignment and prioritization between manufacturing and support teams.
- Coach and direct individuals and the team to meet performance goals and objectives.
- Lead efforts to deliver the EHS performance for the shift/ line of accountability.
- Plan and manage training and development plan of the team members.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
