We totally get that, and neither are we! We know our pubs are amongst the best and it’s only right that the people who work here are too! Think……Blossom trees, cosy corners, log burners, twinkling courtyards, giant swinging skewers, cookie monster cocktails, furry friends, endless smiles & lots of laughter. Our team are ready to welcome you in!

• We have two main roles in the FOH team – ‘hosting’ and ‘support’. In summary, the hosts are responsible for creating the wow factor, and will be the face of the guests experience throughout their visit with us. A warm and friendly approach is essential, with the confidence to interact with a variety of guests. The ‘support role’ is perfect for those new to hospitality – whilst this role also includes lots of guest interaction, the primary purpose is to deliver our fantastic food & drinks to our guests at their tables.
• Creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests, ensuring everyone is greeted on arrival with a big smile and friendly hello – first impressions mean everything to us.
• Proactively hosting our guests as if it were a dinner party in your own home - remaining present in the dining areas to cater for their needs. Whether this be taking orders, clearing used plates/glasses, or just general interaction, guest enjoyment is our priority.
• Promoting the Chilled App and our loyalty scheme to our guests so they have the option to build ‘point’s and use these on return visits.
• Having a full understanding of our menu so you can confidently make recommendations and answer any guests’ questions.
• Preparing the restaurant areas for our guests’ arrival and ensuring the ambience is set appropriately in line with the Chilled standard (think lights, music, candles).
• Supporting our kitchen team and bar teams to ensure all food and drinks are presented to an exceptional standard and delivered in a timely manner – we aim to give the WOW factor.
• Following our ‘challenge 25’ policy and requesting identification when necessary.
