Front of House Coordinator
Monday - Friday 07:30am -16:30pm
Salary £24,960
Location: Newport Training Centre, Godfrey Road NP20 4NX
Could you be what we are looking for? We are on the lookout for a professional, welcoming, and experienced Front of House Coordinator to join our team. You will perform reception, administration, and secretarial duties efficiently and effectively on behalf of the building in which you are located in.
You will help facilitate the flow of personnel by managing access points throughout the building . You will be expected to keep a tidy and efficient reception area, providing a professional and courteous service throughout. You will also be required to handle any phone calls and emails in a prompt, professional manner as well as sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.
As a Front of House Coordinator, you will be in charge of managing documentation and ensuring it is stored in the appropriate location or system. Some additional duties will include opening and closing the building, maintaining building security, managing queries and messages from visitors, issuing visitor and staff passes, assisting with emergency evacuations, ordering of consumable goods and more.
We are looking for someone with a friendly and approachable manner and can always remain professional, displaying sound communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate needs to be IT literate with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work efficiently to agreed deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Support Workplace Management with Fire Alarm testing.
- Regularly complete kitchen checks ensure adequate milk supplies are available. Make sure areas are clean and tidy and the dishwasher is empty after use.
- Complete meeting room checks ensuring all stationary is stocked up, white boards are clear and flipchart paper is stocked up.
- Check each meeting rooms after each booking to make sure its in a suitable condition for the next meeting.
- Check printers are working, and paper and ink levels are not running low. Top up where applicable.
- Complete monthly checks of all fire extinguishers, checking the location and date.
- Complete monthly checks of First Aid boxes, checking the date and content is correct.
- Complete floor walks are report any maintenance & cleaning issues.
- Ensure that stationary stock levels are kept at an adequate level, reorder when required.
- Make sure that all confidential bins and report when they need to be emptied.
- Complete monthly checks of all fire doors making sure they are clear of obstructions.
