JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and hospitality, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth front-of-house operations.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in cash handling procedures and POS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Experience with interviewing and hiring front-of-house staff is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
  • Oversee dining room setup, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.
  • Train new employees on service standards, menu items, and POS systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions, reconcile daily sales, and prepare reports for management.
