Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Front of House Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations of our breakfast restaurant while also managing the unique responsibilities of being a corporate training store. In addition to delivering outstanding guest experience, the Assistant Front of House Manager will oversee and support franchisees who come in for training, ensuring they receive the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to run their own locations successfully.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or FOH leadership is required.
  • Experience in franchise operations or corporate training is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and basic financial reporting.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Detail oriented.

Guest Experience & Daily Operations

  • Oversee front-of-house (FOH) operations, ensuring exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for guest interactions and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Support the General Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and floor management.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Front of House Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

Guest Experience & Daily Operations

  • Oversee front-of-house (FOH) operations, ensuring exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for guest interactions and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Support the General Manager in daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and floor management.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.

Franchisee Training & Corporate Support

  • Manage and coordinate franchisee training sessions, ensuring all participants receive hands-on learning aligned with corporate standards.
  • Serve as a mentor to franchisees, guiding them through FOH procedures, customer service expectations, and restaurant policies.
  • Track and report on franchisee progress, providing feedback to corporate trainers and the General Manager.
  • Ensure that franchisee trainees adhere to brand standards and best practices.
  • Assist in training new FOH staff members to uphold consistency and high-quality service.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training FOH team members.
  • Motivate and coach staff to enhance performance and ensure teamwork.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to align staff on daily goals, special events, and service expectations.
  • Provide feedback and address any performance or disciplinary issues as needed.

Administrative & Financial Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing labor costs by effectively scheduling team members based on business needs.
  • Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for service or process improvements.
  • Support the General Manager in inventory management, cost control, and ordering supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
