CONTRACT: PERMANENTSALARY: CZK 592,800 PER ANNUM

A coeducational international, progressive and innovative day school that serves learners from all over the globe. The school is located is located on Nebušická street 700, 164 04 Prague 6. Catering for about 600-700 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Morning break, Lunch, Afternoon snack and an on site coffee shop. This is predominantly a Monday to Friday operation with some weekend work for events.
We are looking for a Front of House Manager to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Prague.
You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment as a catering supervisor or events supervisor, you will be looking to take your career to the next level and progress into a managerial role.
You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company fanatical about food serving wonderful customers.

Responsibilities:

  • To support the management team with supervising all front of house staff in conjunction with carrying out general catering duties such as basic food packaging and handling.
  • Help set up and prep the daily salad bar and cold fruit dessert preparation, setting up the main counters, arranging the clearing station and service area.
  • Ensure all cutlery is polished , cups and trays are ready serving customers, ensuring all menus are written and have correct allergen information.
  • Conducting daily briefing before service in conjunction with the Head Chef.
  • End of day duties to include the clear down of the service area with support of the catering team.
  • An extremely high level of cleaning and service standards are required for this role.
  • All relevant due diligence is correct including temperatures and cleaning schedules to be signed of by FOH Supervisor. Support Chef/Manager with general admin as required.
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
