JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Server to join our team at Baked Expectations. The ideal candidate will love to offer friendly and efficient customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the restaurant.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety standards, including proper sanitization practices.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while checking on guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments and managing cash transactions.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by anticipating guest needs and providing assistance as necessary.
