Description:
Vision Ireland’s groundbreaking new service The Wayfinding Centre is an immersive, user-friendly transport training environment that aims to facilitate safer and more inclusive journeys in Ireland.
A first of its kind, the centre places individuals with disabilities at the core of its work, providing a diverse suite of learning opportunities including the provision of travel training programs, disability equality and awareness training, inclusive design workshops and hosting transport accessibility projects with transport, urban realm and academic stakeholders.
All designed to help those with access requirements and reduced mobility to build the skills and confidence to navigate public transport safely and easily, whilst helping other stakeholders to address the transport accessibility gap.
The Wayfinding Centre is currently seeking a motivated Front Office Administrator with a can-do attitude to join our team.

Contracted hours: Full time, (on-site)
Location: Glasnevin, Co. Dublin.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
QQI Level 4 qualification in Administration or equivalent, or relevant experience
Experience engaging with people who have disabilities, cultural and individual differences
Proficiency in accessible documentation and and/or willingness to undertake professional development opportunities
Experience in or willingness to obtain First Aid certificate and any other relevant training provided by management
Previous experience in high level administrative roles will be highly regarded
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Front Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the centre, providing a welcoming experience and front-line customer service to the centre’s visitors. The administrator’s duty involves efficiently coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals and timelines.
Providing administrative support, the ideal candidate will be critical to the team’s success, also having excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanour, and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
