Description:

Fort Worth Vascular is seeking to hire a Full Time Front Office Float position to support all providers within the practice.
Fort Worth Vascular is affiliated with Privia Medical Group. We have served the greater Fort Worth area for over 10 years. Our physicians are award-winning doctors and have been named “Top Doctors” multiple times.
Under direct supervision of the Practice Administrator, the front office float is responsible for performing a variety of general administrative duties supporting the front office operations.
Duties for this position include but not limited to, answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, scanning documents, distributing electronic faxes, insurance verification, entering new patient demographics, checking patients in/out, obtaining authorizations for surgical procedures, collecting copayments/deductibles and surgical deposits, as well as other clerical duties as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR FRONT OFFICE FLOAT:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

JOB EXPERIENCE:

  • Applicants must have at minimum one year of previous physician office experience, preferably in a surgical practice with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Good computer skills using a medical management application (EHR).
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization/referrals/billing requirements.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service, a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and follow through are a requirement.
  • Applicants must be self-motivated, reliable, and timely.
  • A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, as traveling to other office locations may be required.
  • Knowledge of NextGen is a plus.
  • Bilingual – preferred, not required.
