Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Intrawest. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Manages all aspects of Front Office including front desk, bell, valet, concierge, activities, and Kid’s Club. As a department head this position is responsible for budgeting, hiring, training, planning, guest service, employee relations, purchasing, and department finances. Functions as manager on duty.
Four year college degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel front desk and reservations operations.
Minimum of 2 years management experience.
Strong working knowledge of business software with emphasis on MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Lightspeed
Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to effectively communicate to guests, employees and management.
Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines.
Ability to solve problems using common sense and hotel policy.
